Cowes Week 2023 - Pop Up Waterside Restaurant & Bar

Cowes Week 2023
This year Cowes Week takes place from Saturday July 29th to Friday August 4th. As an event, there really is nothing quite like Cowes Week. It is the oldest and largest annual sailing regatta in the World and an iconic feature of the British sporting calendar. The event attracts people year in year out, time and time again, and we are expecting to see a strong crowd in attendance.
We are looking forward to using our waterfront setting as the venue for The Pop Up Cowes Week Bar and Restaurant where we shall serve delicious locally sourced food and drink from 6pm daily. On Friday 4th we have a ticketed event with food, drink, live music and dancing featuring JC & Angelina and a disco. Included in the price is a complimentary drink from our sponsors Mermaid Gin. This was a great success last year and sold out in advance, so book early. Click here to book tickets for Friday Night Cowes Week Party.

Royal Thames at Commodores House
The Royal Thames Yacht Club will be holding their extremely popular Cowes Week Cocktail Party on Sunday 30th July. We are pleased to announce that this year we have extended our relationship. The boathouse and quay will be available exclusively to Royal Thames members and their guests from 10.00 to 18.00 from Saturday 29th July until Thursday 3rd August. We shall be serving tea, coffee and light lunches and of course the bar will be open. In good weather, members will be able to sit outside and observe the buzz of activity on the water.

Cowes Week Pop Up Bar & Restaurant
The Restaurant will open at 18.00 serving food until late. We shall feature the best of locally produced food and shellfish prepared by David Rogers, the Isle of Wight chef who has received many accolades for our events. The restaurant will be in operation from Saturday 29th July until Friday 4th August. The restaurant closes at 9pm on Friday to make way for the Cowes Week Party.

Friday Night Celebrations. Huge numbers of people come to Cowes for the end of the week celebrations on 4th August. Sadly there will be no fireworks or Red Arrows this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a great party by the Waterside. We are delighted to have booked the incredibly talented JC and Angelina to play for us once again. Later there will be a disco running until the early hours. The entry price includes a complimentary drink from our sponsors Mermaid Gin. Buffet food can be purchased for consumption either standing or seated, and of course the bar will be open.
