Ellen MacArthur 2012

In 2012 we opened up the Boathouse for Frank Fletcher and his team to organise a fundraising event for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust. Our Gold Medalist Shirley Robinson was there and we had a welcoming speech from Ellen herself. Nick Bonham ran an auction in his own inimitable style and raised funds for the charity. It was very jolly time with lots of familiar faces. It’s a great thing to have fun whilst raising money for such a good cause.
