The Boathouse & Quay Main area for functions and weddings
The Uffa Fox room for private dining experiences
The Lookout for cocktail parties
The venue is divided into three main areas with the Boathouse and Quay at the bottom of the house, the Uffa Fox room on the first floor and the Lookout on the top of the building with panoramic views over Cowes harbour.
The ground floor area was once used by Uffa Fox for building Flying Fifteen dinghies. Indoors it has an area of 130 sq metres. The quay has an area of 86 sq metres. The Boat House can accommodate up to 200 people for cocktail parties or up to 100 people for lunches or dinners, but mainly weddings. A marquee can be erected on the quay if desired.
This is where Uffa used to hold his amazing dinner parties. The dining table can seat up to 18 people. In tribute to him there are pictures and memorabilia of his life . There is a feature on the airborne lifeboat and there are pictures of Uffa as a choir boy, on horseback, and sailing “Coweslip” with Prince Philip
The lookout was first used for parties during the America’s Cup Jubilee in 2001. The view is amazing all the way from Portsmouth to the Downs on the South of the Island. It is fascinating to observe the cruise liners and massive container ships as they turn round the West Bramble buoy on their way to and from Southampton
